i went to the new mersey boots in liverpool yesterday where they were selling boots sensitive concentrated washing powder (up to 17 washes) down from £3.79 to 50p, but then as part of the health club, boots sensitive products are half price when you use your ac, so they were only 25p a box! bargain!!0

I was wondering if any of you lovely bootsers can help??
I am trying to find a boots store that sells either: dvd recorders, wii's, psp or ds lites (would prefer to get ds lite) as I have a fair few points to spend and my local boots does not stock them, if anyone spots any of the above plz could you either post here or pm me.
Thanks

Hi!.....I've so missed this site, it's great to be back!
I had a lovely surprise this morning, I had a bad experience with an SA in my local boots (she was very rude and unhelpful) and as it wasn't the first time I've found bad customer service in that store I thought I'd let them know, so about a week and a half ago I sent an email to their helpdesk (email address in crazyposhgal's first post, thanks!) I received an apology letter and a £10 giftcard in the post thanking me for making them aware of it and that they've spoken to the Store Manager! :j It's good that they care about their customers I think, and hopefully this particular SA will be nicer next time (she's normally quite 'funny' with me so usually avoid her if I can!)
I posted just before the site crash about an Estee Lauder lip balm (I had a similar problem about the GWP, I bought a sharpener with the balm and the SA said 'I wouldn't normally give this out on such a small spend but as we've had a good day I'm in a good mood and you can have one', I let her think she was being really helpful but if she had said I couldn't have one I would have mentioned about it only saying with 2 items and no spend amount too!) that I'd got on the xmas evening and it was the wrong colour (no markings on the box so assumed it was clear but got home and it was peach!) and a nail polish that had been put in the wrong place in the display (I picked it up thinking it was topcoat, it was actually clear polish, not until I got home I saw 'Nail Colour' written on the front (does it strike anyone else as weird that they have clear nail colour?!?) and not 'Topcoat')
They were really good about this when I went into the store to try and change them, I did them both in different transactions (I didn't want them to think I was completely dumb! :rotfl: I also picked up a brown/black No7 360 mascara but don't mind this as I wanted a change from black!) The Estee Lauder assistant (different one from before) was very helpful and she swapped it for the right one (this one did have a label on the box so I think that was their mistake anyway!) I went to another till to change the nail polish and it was a male SA, he said 'I wouldn't be able to tell the difference myself!' :rotfl: as it was the same bottle except the really tiny writing on the front! They swapped this no problems, so that was good!
I just noticed the post by 'babymoneyblagger' about electrical items, and it's funny you should ask, as I've just rung up CS about a nintendo DS lite myself! The man on the other end of the phone said that they'd been discontinued from stores so only available online, that online they would have stock within the next few weeks, and I mentioned I was hoping they would have one in store as I wanted to pay with points, he said that you can order in store and pay with points and that it comes from the same place as online orders? I said 'I didn't think I could do that?' and he definitely said that I could! I'm really confused as I didn't think I could but then you think that CS would know, right?
Anyway, sorry it's long, so much to say since the sites been down!0 -

Had a wonderful time at Boots today (double staff discount day
). Filled up one of those trolley things with the two baskets on.......they are fab! Got my present to myself - the No7 travel bag with all the goodies inside, No7 lippie (used £5 voucher so free), loads of other stuff..........came to over £100 after 342 taken off, then double staff dis, then used vouchers from Pigsback....total to pay = pennies!
My loveliest Boots shop ever :T:T:T:T:T:T

Is it just me or does anyone else think that this years no7 artists pallette is much better than last years. Was just having a browse and noticed that this years has lots of lovely eyeshadows and lip colours in it aswell as other bits-The one last year was £50 but i got it for £12.50 during the 75%off sale and i think it was quite poor value as the variety of cosmetics in it was not at all good.-Forgot to use it aswell and have now noticed that the nail polishes have gone off.
I have lots and lots of points at the moment with nothing to spend on as the perfumes that i want (daisy, valentino rock&rose couture and vivien westwoods boudoir) are not available in boots, I would like some benefit makeup but no benefit counters in my locol store. No ysl or dior counters either.I don't like clinique or estee lauder and have a lifetimes supply of no7 skincare and makeup.Don't need a pushchair as haven't got a baby and already have an ipod and 2 digital cameras so can't consider those, thought of topping up but don't need to do that as am on the vodafone family thing and that doesn't cost me anything.I can't even justify spending points in the sales as the house is full to bursting point with toiletries and all the presents are sorted. What can I do?Love can tame the wildest0 -
shop-to-drop wrote: »I used to use Clinique city block which I liked but now use Clinique almost makeup which has a little more coverage. I find it brill as so quick to use and less aging than proper foundation for daytime use. In the summer when my skin has a little more colour I use Benefit 'You rebel' which I also love.
These ranges are pricey but I always look out for Clinique Bonus Time or at least some bonus points on Benefit.
If you want to try the Benefit one be sure to go to the counter and get them to 'do you' before shelling out.
Hope you find one you like!;)
How did you get on with applying the Benefit one? I read a review about it. Someone said they were really happy when the Benefit lady applied it, but couldn't get it to work for them at home.0 -

Vouchers would include 500 pts on olay, 200pts on max factor mascara 200pt on pantene 100pts on 17 foundation, £1 botanics plus any others i could find spare. I'm trying to get some things for our local hospital. Thanks

I went to the Estee Lauder counter in Bluewater today to get a pencil sharpner and blotting paper + gift with purchase. I was told they had no blotting paper so asked for 2 sharpners instead. The SA got the 2 sharpners and I questioned the GWP. She snorted and said ' I can't let you have that for such a low spend!' When I questioned the 'buy 2 products and recieved GWP' she took one of the sharpners away and said she had fogotten she was holding it for another customer and wouldn't let me have it. Thought she was very rude and deliberately obstructive!
That is unbelievable. I think you should complain to CS. Considering they had the GWP in and there is no exclusions to the offer (minimum spend), you should have been able to get the GWP. The SA can't just make up the rules as she feels like.0 -
Found something to spend my £5 no 7 voucher on ...... a nail file & buffer set with a case to store them in. £4 each so free with voucher. Could also take advantage of 3 for 2 - 3 sets for £3 if you use a voucher. Find them in the nail care aisle.
Would make a nice pressie if combined with a nail polish or hand cream.0
