    Hi,
Just saw this on the BBC website. It's Boots related in the sense that we buy lots of creams there!!

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/6677631.stm
«The Michigan team do not say which particular cream they used, only that it contained a "retinol", or vitamin A component.»

Also, some advice please. Recently I started having some spots on my upper lip and forehead. I'm 32 . I'm using some clearasil moisturisers, cleaning with the N7 combination cleanser and using an Expert Blemish toner (and occasionally a bit of the expert blemish serum that came int he expert tin).

Anyone can recommend a scheme? Thanks.

I'm a bit upset because I have stocked up on time delay moisturisers and serum, to prevent the wrinkles and now I'm faced with another problem!!! Basically I'm "too you young" to be worrying about wrinkles, since I need to worry about spots!!:rotfl:

hi I bought a max factor lip gloss (it said you needed to buy this plus one other max factor but I chanced my arm.) I got a lovely yellow max factor bag with some mini pantene shampoo, conditioners, some l'oreal or olay facial creams and some max factor lipsticks. OOoeee I opened it up and 200 point coupon when you buy a MF mascara. Hope this helps. Also everyone at the xmas special in Ayr seemed to have double point vouchers. Where do you get them I didn't have any and was quite sad. I am only just starting this bootsing lark as we have no Boots in our town. Was coming across the old bridge in Ayr all alone and in the dark after the xmas thingee last week and my poor partner nearly called the police because he was waiting for me in the car and didn't know the shop stayed open so late. Then I came chugging along finally found some of those slimfast 3 for 2 smoothies and then got them for half price because they are on the health card. Was beaming like a Cheshire cat. Oh also had a £3.00 off a foundation in the post and it was on for half price so I paid .50pence for it instead of £6.50. Taffy

Do the yellow bags go through the till without purchasing any MF products then? has anyone seen these in any of the central london stores? I was after one a while ago, but didn't want to spend 15.00 to get it. Now if they go through for free, then I don't mind getting 1...or perhaps 2 of these...or even 3:rotfl:

Hi I did buy the lip gloss for the free max factor bag but it said to buy the lip gloss and one other max factor product. I just bought the lip gloss but I noticed that the girls at the tills were kind of eagle eyed. I had foundation by someone else and 2 no 7 lipsticks and loads of slimfast so went through ok with just the one max factor purchase. Try it without a purchase amongst a pile of things in your basket and let us know if it went through. The girl at the till told me that I could not get the extra points because the sales and discounts brought my purchases down under £50.00. Does anyone know if that is standard that you have to actually pay over £50.00? She wouldn't even let me use the points when my new purchases amounted to £49.70 and I had to go buy a packet of fruit pastilles. I wish there was a Boots in my town and a Tesco sigh. Taffy
