When I asked about the Mascara 360 and free gift(makeup brushes) I got told that they were out of stock and wouldn't be getting any more in at all, the no7 SA made it seem like the offer had ended???

The offer is still on until 6/11 but only where they have some left in stock. I think there are still some on .com but obviously you cant use your voucher to get them. It seems when No 7 goes on 342 the gwp's seem to sell out fast. Coincidence I think not. Have to say i did manage to get a set but dont think they are that impressive.

Well, we went to the shopping event in Oxford last night. OH was very taken aback at how much I got back in points and what they are worth which was just over £28 making my total over £50. His comment was "so you can just go in and get £50 of christmas presents for absolutely nothing???" I think the penny dropped :rotfl: !!! He went totally quiet when I said it can be spent on anything instore including treats for us ...!

I'm sickened though as I didn't know about the goodie bag on the £75 spend and my total came to just under £72. I forgot top up my phone too which is something I desperately need anyway so am doubly kicking myself today. Mind you, the SA gave me a £5 off using a voucher she had at the till for the spend level but neither of us heard the amount unfortunately.

All in all it worked out a very successful venture in MSE style. I've worked out that I got £106 worth of goods (including the points earnt last night) for a total of less than £7 from my own pocket!

Just a quick question though, we bought a Victoria Beckham Intimately night and on the website it says you get a free bag with it, (I suffer memory problems and forgot about it last night) but I didn't get one. I've looked online again and it doesn't actually say if it's online, instore or both. Does anyone know please and if so, is there anything I can do about it if I should have got it last night?

Even I didnt get a goody bag I spent £78.89 in first transaction and in the second i spent just over £50.00

I've been on PTS and the nice bootsers there mentioned at least some stores have a GWP from clinique as foxy-lady had anounced (she was also there). Looking forward to hearing about it, since I'm grounded for the next few days, I really need to study!!

hi guys-it feels weird to be back on.I have missed this thread and visiting boots was never the same without having gained information and wisdom from all the bootsers.I'm lost for words now.

On saturday, I went to boots in high street kensington (big store) and spotted the red/black MF boxes...well, you couldn't really miss them. There was a ton of 'em on the shelf above the make-up (back wall) they also had the manicure sets (pink plastic bag) No brush sets this time though. Last time the boxes and manicure sets scanned without buying any MF products, despite a sign saying you had to spend a certain amount on MF to get the free gift. This time the sign says "free gift with a 15.00 spend on any cosmetics of your choice" I bought a MF nail polish for 5.50 and got a box and the manicure set for free (I could've got them for free without buying any cosmetics, but I was in a hurry and didn't have time to take a chance. If SA said I couldn't have the free gifts it would mean trying at another till and wasting time) I tried to hand the SA the nail polish first, but she scanned the both of the free gifts first and they both went through at 0.00:eek: she looked a little surprised and I half expected her to say something was wrong, but she let me have them:D
