Best mobile deal?

My current mobile contract runs out next month so I'm looking for the best deal (not Three). I use about 150 minutes a month and I'm happy to keep my 6310i so I'd like to sell the new mobile on eBay to cover the cost of the contract (or even make a profit!)

So far the best I can find is with BT Mobile through e2save which gives 150 anytime xnet mins + 50txts and 1000 mins to your home phone per month. This costs £1.99 a month for 7 months and then £27/month for the remaining 5 months. The phone is a 6230 which fetches about £200 on eBay thus leaving me in profit for the year. Seeing as though most of my calls are to my home then this contract suits me fine, and it would be great for anyone who lives away from home e.g. a student...

Edit: Just found out that the 1000 minutes BT offer is only for quick calls e.g. 2 mins or less! Pretty much useless really...

Any better offers out there...?
Don't blame me, it was like that when I got here!

That's not a very good deal - the 6230 certainly doesn't fetch £200 - more like £130-140 (even the 6230i only gets just over £200) less your costs thats about £120-125

But that still effectively leaves me paying nothing for 12 months 150mins 50txt PLUS 1000 mins to my home phone per month. I was hoping that someone out there might know of a better deal....

Just checked eBay completed items and I was right they do fetch close to £200 when unlocked, boxed and new.

according to my search of Ebay completed items in last couple of days the max price fetched was £160, majority go for between £125-£140, i'm in agreement with Darren21 on this, the PAYG price is even around £150 or so now which has dented the ebay market

OK I concede the contract is not that bad, there aren't many deals around at the mo apart from mobileshop.com - maybe get e2save to match them?

    I'm afraid the 6230 is not worth £200 -

If you do see any that have gone for around £200 then they are normally buy it now auctions set up by wishful thinkers who get a scammer buy their phone & try to rip them off! If you look at the ended auction a few days later the buyer is nearly always 'no longer registered' plus the same buyer will have bought about 10 in one day.

Plus who would pay £200 when orange and CPW charge only £149.99 now??

Thanks, I'll have a look at Mobileshop's deals. I like the look of the BT Mobile contract as I spend most of my talk time ringing home, so 1000 mins would give me over 30 minutes a day!

As for the eBay thing I didn't think to look to see whether the sale was valid or not and didn't know that they're only £150 from a shop. Thanks for that as I could have been banking on getting more than I actually will!
