I'm not prepared to provide detailed information, but you couldn't be more wrong about who cared and who didn't. I asked for information about how the LPA system worked and that has been answered.
They didn't know about the situation because of the influence the brother had had on the mother, and the breaking of contact. As said previously, even the grandchildren had been unable to maintain contact and they did live in the same area.
People who don't know the full story would be better served sticking to answer the questions asked. That's true of all forums, not just this one.0
