    Hi All

    Busy old day today.

    Wealth

    * 10p roadkill found.

    * New booking made/deposit in my account. Taking new business earnings to £525 since Jan 3rd.

    * Saved money on dinner tonight as it's half of last night's meal. New jacket potatoes cooking to go with.

    * DS ate up the last portion of last night's lasagne for his dinner.

    Health

    * Walked a lot today. Around 6 miles in total.

    * Hoping for a better night's sleep, was still awake at 1am last night, ze little grey cells just wouldn't stoopppp!!!

    Organisation

    * Prepared three items of uniform for the next school sale. Labelled and packed ready to go.

    * Discussed with OH our plans for a family visit in half term.

    * Took a sandwich, flask of coffee, water & snacks for after school out with me this morning.

    * Only spent £3 on travel by walking a lot and also maximising the new hopper fee system.

    Think that's it.

    Wealth

    * Bought a bag of YS leaves for 89p, technically for free as used up all my roadkill in the self service till.

    * Up to £360 drawings on the business this month so far (used for debt repayment and shopping)

    * Very worrying message tonight that might mean a big bill for a plumber at the business...Hoping not but won't know till morning.

    * Received another £100 in my account today.

    * Checked both sets of banking.

    * 2 new business enquiries.

    Health

    *Walked my usual school run journey. Got soaked to the skin.

    Organisation

    * Did a tonne of cleaning today, won't list it all out again as already reported on the Small Things thread.

    * Took a bag of clothing to the fabric bank in the local supermarket carpark.

    Fingers crossed that the big bill doesn't happen Bob
    Let’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭

    Hi All

    Quick update before I round up the wagon and head off into the scary looking grey outside:o

    Thanks guys for all the kind wishes above.

    Wealth

    * Touch wood the plumbing situation appears to have been resolved. But this being Friday 13th and all:eek:

    * Minimal spends - needed butter and oven chips.

    * OH did the school run this morning and as he is WFH but his card has credit I will take that out with me. This means we'll hit the daily price cap on journies and avoid charging two cards.

    * Lots of discussion with DH on our impending current account switch. Should be simple. Isn't. We will persevere. Worth it for the £100.

    * Had a bit of a moment this morning feeling angry that I should be looking at a bumper month takings wise. New business is excellent. But because of the two big cancellations, I have 'lost' £590. I know there is no point dwelling, and I haven't been till today, but that little voice that says ' it's not fair and stamps it's foot' has paid me a visit. Moving on...

    Health

    * A good night's sleep for the first in two. This has definitely made me feel better MH wise.

    * Lots of chat with DH is great for MH too.

    * Walking quite a bit, probably 3 miles today.

    Organisation

    * Sorted out DS's wardrobe. Refolded all the t-shirts, underwear, and trousers. Checked all socks had a buddy. Threw out three socks that had no partner.

    * Chopped up the two steaks cooked last night and added frozen veg to the pot. Will wack a puff pastry lid on when I get home and call it a pie.

    * Checked both sets of banking. Emailed the current bank about standing orders as I am not sure if they can move them or if I have to ask the person the money comes from. Have been doing a lot of prep for our impending current account switch. Apparently you have three months to follow the new account procedure to get the £100 from First Direct.

    * Talked to DH about whether he is keeping his pension admin up to date. He has so many it's a pain in the backside but that's the modern workplace. His current employer of almost 5 years have made him switch from their old scheme to their new one. It's the new one I don't think I have paperwork for. As everything is done via printing off their intranet it worries me if he were to leave if we'd lose track of the money. Just one for us to resolve.

    * Cleaned two fridge shelves.

    * Tidied my purse of receipts and noted spends down. Recycled some out of date coupons.

    * Packed away all the dry washing.

    * Made a flask to take on the school run. Packed snacks for the bus journey for hungry kids. DS has swimming today so will be ravenous.

    Glad to hear the boiler situation is looking better!

    Hope you have a fab weekend - try not to let the 'lost' money get to you, although I know that's easier said than done. Just remember it's not your fault people are flakes!!!
