You will get through it, Flowers, if we could not cope with complaints we would not work in customer service, would we? Just keep in mind that they would complain no matter who answered the phone, it is not personal. Chin up and well done on getting a better rate of interest.
:):) Happy face, now! 0 -
Very true Smodlet. Maybe I should think about a career change, haha! It's just very disheartening when the reason why they are complaining is because we are so understaffed which is frustrating as we just don't have the time to deal with things properly. Never mind. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be today so I will continue the battle to try and make people happy

NSD again which is always good plus 1 hours overtime which is about £17 after tax and deductions
Posted 2 items I sold so another £20 in the bank.
Budget is looking good for this month. I won't be going into the overdraft at all if everything goes to plan!
Got to wait for all my DD's to come out so I can update my signature

Just popped in to say, "Hi, how's it goin'?" and I'm glad things were not as bad as you had feared once you got back to the grindstone.
You had a birthday week, almost, you jammy, little so-and-so. You are truly rich, Flowers, you have a wonderful, loving family by the sound of it. Not everyone is so fortunate.0 -
yes I have a lovely family and friends back home which is makes me very lucky.
I just thought I haven't updated my diary regarding the interview I went on.. Well not really much to update as they still haven't come back to me. The company I used to work for are notoriously slow at getting back to people as it took them 6 weeks to tell me when I worked for them before that I had got the job  it does make me think I don't have it so I've been busy applying for other positions but I don't want to jump at the first job I see as I may end up hating it. Going to keep my eye out for new positions and see what happens.
Spending wise I went to the shops to stock up on household items and freezer food. Spent £16 in the supermarket but this did include toiletries too. Also spent another £25 on fuel so I now have a full tank and I've still got £10 of my fuel budget left for this month. I am due to withdraw another £50 tomorrow for next weeks budget. I'm amazed I have stuck to my £50 budget for groceries and social things :T it's all small steps but now I'm slowly getting my budget under control it means I can set aside a decent amount to pay off the credit cards.
I have just received the loan payment for my new loan at a cheaper rate :j this saves me £75 a month so I need to phone up my old bank and pay off that loan. Luckily there is no early repayment fee so I'm going to save loads of interest payments :T
2 more days at work then the weekend again and I'm off home again

Hi Flowers,
It sounds like you are doing so well with all of this!
You really know exactly where every penny is going and have kept at writing on here.
I've relapsed majorly, if you can even say that after such little one on here, and I'm not really very far on or as far as I should be.
Sorry that the job haven't got back to you yet, that's annoying, but they are no doubt working all sorts of stuff out behind the scenes for all you know. Your current role sounds quite stressful at times but you're doing well to stick at it and bring in the money through overtime etc.
Glad you had a nice birthday.0 -
Any news yet, Flowers?
Houseplant, hang in there, Rome wasn't built in a day, you can do this.

How are things going for you flowers? I've been useless at keeping my diary, I'm a bit of an all or nothing person....0

Hi flowers,
Just wondering how you are? Not sure duly still use the boards

Hi Houseplant.
Sorry I've been so busy I've not had a moment to sit down for a while.
It's been a whirlwind few weeks and I have a new job back nearer to my family and friends. It's a role where I can earn more as its commission and my basic salary isn't much less than my maximum take home pay now so I will actually be better off as my living costs will be lower
I've got another 2 weeks left in the city and I've sold my house and put an offer on another 2 bedroom house in a small market town. It's absolutely gorgeous and has a nice conservatory. This means I have had to get a mortgage as the property is more expensive but I'm going to use some of the equity in my property to pay off my loan and credit cards and then concentrate on paying off the mortgage over the next few years while building up my pension and savings. As my new role is commissioned I am well aware that some months I won't take home as much so I want to aim for a £5k emergency fund in the long term.
I think my current employer is annoyed I'm leaving and they have asked what they can do to make me stay but it's not what I want long term so I have decided this is the end of my 7 years in the city. Going to miss the people but looking forward o being closer to my support network. Also, after be day I've had I know I've made the right decision to leave. We are so short staffed and there is no plan to sort out the work position.
I haven't been too good with my spending lately as I've been away for the weekend with my sister and bought lots of clothes for my new job which is a role where I will be meeting clients so I have to look smart. My overall debt will be more when my house purchase goes through due to the mortgage but I don't care as I'm sooo excited to be moving home.
