in terms of pre approved card, you will need to either have a letter from them or give them a call to find out.
When did you apply ??
Does anyone else have the same experience ? I have tried Barclaycard and they said I could only have one Creditcard with Barclay, ....
MBNA do not have a good deal so there is not point to get three of them.
I am interested with Tesco Clubcard creditcards as they have 0% interest on bT with £0 BT fee. Could I apply exactly the same Creditcard or it has got to be other range of their creditcard ....0 -

Does anyone know if they carry out a hard search on your credit file for additional credit card?
I've got a Tesco Foundation Card - and although i pay it off in full every month - im not due a credit limit review till 12 months, in hind sight i should have applied for there "normal" credit card and i would have been offered the foundation card if my application was unsuccessful.0 -

It's entirely possible they've made their decision based on the CRA monthly feed information, so may not even have formally searched Experian.0 -
I never got a credit search for my second Tesco clubcard but then I'd been a Platinum card holder for 10+ years. They just sent me a pre-approved application letter through the post and I applied online and was accepted immediately.0

.
mistakehappens:
Are you saying you have two" credit cards accounts" e.g a different account or the same account just two cards e.g Visa and Amex platinum.
Barclaycard platinum have a good deal at the moment : 0% interest on balance transfers for 32 months from account opening (with effectively 0.72% fee )
https://www.barclaycard.co.uk/personal/platinum-third-balance-transfer?WT.mc_id=C128L011N91&WT.tsrc=Aggregators&TC=USW0330077&mpch=ads
I already have Barclay Platinum fora long time. A few months ago I called them they said I cannot have two credit cards with Barclays.
Another posters have also confirmed about this
e.g 445on this threadBarclaycard will only let you have one account at the moment. Not sure if this has only just happened.
And from another thread
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5386487
mistakehappens are you sure you have two credit cards accounts or just one account but two different card e.g Visa and Amex.
Could anyone else share their personal experience ??

Just want to inform the forum
I got my second Tesco 0% on BT Clubcard Creditcatd but to my surprise the limis is just £900,- > My previous card has the limit of £7,900.
Anyway I am just using it for stoozing £900 is not going to go far but I have got the card and therefore will transfer the balance anyway.0 -

That's interesting as the Platinum card I've held for over 10 years only has a limit of £1200 but that suited me as I used it for my monthly spending/Clubcard points and cleared the balance every month. The new Clubcard cc they offered me came with a limit of £5500 and a decent 0% BT offer.0
