Windows 10 is not supported on some older Pentium processors.

Could be you're one of the unlucky ones. But nothing to worry about as you could be supported in the future.

Actually, Nope, it's an AMD E450-based netbook (albeit with 4GB of RAM) which is about 3-4 yrs old. Won't bore you with the detail but it was a painful experience (twice!). OTOH, that was the machine, still running W7 HP (which is where it will stay ad infinitum!), on which I wrote my previous post!



And this post is from my main laptop (AMD A8, 8GB) which is back on W7 Pro - and which is where it will stay until I am "happy" with W10, if ever, (3x other W10 machines - all dealt with by ShutUP 10 - to play with to find out).


PS: all the m/cs were "cleaned up" before the attempts to upgrade - so pretty much no crap, memory hoggers, lost short-cuts, Registry rubbish, fragmented disks and so on)
