in Water bills
Hi hope I can get some help. I have just received an overdue letter from Thames water re a property I lived in 10 years ago!!!! No other communications just a red letter stating I owe £204! I've paid by direct debit for 10years at my current property so I don't understand how this has come about! What is my position please? Thanks in advance

Presumably you are not disputing that you owed £204 from the period before you left the property?
As you are probably aware, debts become statute barred after 6 years, so it depends what Thames water did about attempting to obtain payment.

Thanks for your reply. I am disputing that I owed any money to Thames Water as i left with a clear bill.
Thanks I will have a look at the link.0
