Your husband really needs to tell his brother to sort this out, do your or your husband not know his new address?0
-
No, unfortunately we don't.0

It will not affect you having his debts in your property as the debts are to do with his name, Whilst it is annoying to have letters and the likes coming to you the best bet is to return them all with not at this address wrote on them.0

There won't be any bailiffs until he has been taken to court. Bin/RTS the letters, reply to court papers 'not known at this address'.
Your credit rating won't be effected unless you had any joint financial service with him. People have credit ratings, addresses don't.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

From now on either pop his mail in the bin or continue to return to sender ( I would just bin it)- there is nothing to worry about as it has nothing to do with you.0 -
I'm not sure there is nothing to worry about as I am assuming the brother in law has the same surname as you guys. If your husband or kids share a first initial then that can cause problems. Plus if Baliffs do come round it will be hard to prove he doesn't live there when all your ID matches his surname.

Could you possibly move house?
No, only joking, I would do as already advised and RTS everything.0 -
Thanks for your help.0

Hence the suggestion to only respond to court papers.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
