Easyjet boarding pass

Checked in on the app and have saved the boarding passes to my apple wallet. If I email my partner's to her from the wallet, will that be sufficient for scanning at the airport or does it need to come from the app or the apple wallet?

I usually have a screenshot of the scan code on an old back up phone incase I ran out of battery and have used them at the airport with no problem :)

Are you heading through security/boarding separately?

I had both mine & OH passes in my wallet - they don't need to be on different phones.

No, together. Ah ok, that's fine then. Just checking before deciding whether to print out or not.

If you access the boarding passes through the app you just swipe to show the other person's pass, they don't need to be downloaded to a wallet.

Or your girlfriend can download the app and access the boarding pass on her own phone.

We recently flew with Easyjet and I decided to give the app a go for the boarding passes with both being on my phone.

Personally, I found it too much hassle because you get to security with everyone eager to get through first and you start having to open up the phone screen, which should be passcode protected, select the person going through first, give them your phone because it's too crowded to stand alongside by the reader to do it yourself, get your phone off them and then switch the screen to your own pass to scan.

Repeat this procedure at the checkin gate.

I had printed off paper copies as a backup and used them on the return journey rather than the app. It was so easy just to scan a piece of paper rather than mess around with a phone.

I like technology but only if it is an improvement. For me, the app is great as a backup should I lose the paper copies.

    Have a great holiday.
