Don't you have Netto or Lidl - I like their Korma sauces (although I'm more of a Dansak/Rogan Josh kinda guy).0

Just what I was going to say
We have an existing thread with more recipes (curry Queen's is my favourite ) so I'll add this to give the OP more ideas.

Yes, I must admit that I wondered that, when I first saw the recipe. However, it is only 100g per person. I would expect a chicken tikka masala to have a lot more. I assure you that it is the right colour and does tastes creamy and 'coconutty'.The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
I'm just about to attempt a chicken korma in my slow cooker. The recipe I have ('cause I'm a rubbish cook) needs 2 tablespoons of ground almonds, I forgot to buy them.
Can I just leave them out, or is there something I can replace them with?

Possibly a drop of almond essence for flavour? You might need to cook it for longer to get the sauce to thicken as I think the almonds would also add a bit of texture as well...
Best thing though if you can might be to get the whole lot started minus the almonds, then nip out later to get them and add then (this is why I love my slow cooker!)0 -
Do you have any shredded coconut? I often put that in curry.0

 Why didn't I think of that, thanks! :D0 -

Totally agree with Penny GS1967 - we all have to start somewhere. I would add any ground nuts or essence as mentioned for flavour , along with a thickener. x
Do let us know how your curry turns out though, sounds yummy!
We'll add your thread to the existing korma thread later to keep all the ideas together
