Korma Curry Recipe anyone?

I'd just leave them out. 2 tbsp isn't a huge amount and leaving them out won't cause your korma to spoil
Try it with almonds next time.

hi,
I am going to attempt to make my own Korma recipe, however, it says the sauce required almonds. my son has a nut allergy and I don't keep nuts in the house. Do you think it will be okay to make the sauce without the almonds? Will it still taste okay?
many thanks0 -
I'm sure it will be fine - whats the rest of the ingredients?0

The rest of the ingredients just for the Korma sauce are Coriander, Tumeric, Cumin and chilli powder.0 -
I assume there is also something like coconut milk in there too? I'm sure the almonds are just an added ect and it won't hurt without them.0

It tastes fine without almonds - I've never bothered to put them in as I don't like nuts.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0

Isn't the coconut milk going to be a problem?
For about 4 x ~200g portions, I add 100ml of plain yoghurt and 50g of creamed coconut for the last 10 minutes.
In your circumstances, omit the creamed coconut. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -

Coconut isn't actually a nut but a "drupe" (a kind of fruit)0 -
Was going to suggest replace almonds with coconut, but it seems like minded members have already suggested it.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A
