New MSE energy deals to come?

Hello all. I was just wondering if MSE would be releasing their fantastic tariff deals again this year. I jumped on last year's E.on deal and this is now ccoming to an end and it seems that I will be paying an extra 30% on top of what I paid over the last 12 months.
Come on MSE, bring on those deals we have come to adore from you. I want you to get my transfer fee (and the cash back for myself of course!) and don't want some other comparison site to get what you guys deserve. :money:
If anyone else knows of any MSE deals then please let me know.

Unlikely that you'll find anything much cheaper then you are currently on.
The wholesale market looks to have bottomed out and is showing signs of continued rises. Non energy costs are also set to increase over the next 12 months. Non energy costs are, for the most part, set in advance so there is less guesswork in where these are going to go.0 -
Hi all!
We're aiming to do another collective switch soon, but don't have the details just yet.
When we do, it'll be written about in the weekly email:

As pointed out in the concluding two sentences of a well-considered MSE article HERE, written on 20 July by Andrew Capstick, by the time MSE does get its butt into gear and produces its next collective fix offerings, they may well prove to be more expensive than what's freely available today on the open market.0 -
Thanks for the replies and in particular Roxanne, it's good to know that you guys are working on something for all of us MSE spendthrifts. I really look forward to seeing the new energy collective deals and just hope that they come in before my current 1 year deal ends on the 6th of September.0

You would do well to run a comparison now based on separate suppliers. Prices are rising as the £ falls. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I have been wondering about this too. The link above just takes me to the weekly email; am I missing something?0 -
@smodel
No you're not missing something. MSE Roxanne said "WHEN" they have news it will be reported on the weekly news. Currently there is no news but she has kindly given you a link to the latest weekly news so you can bookmark it and check it weekly.
Or better still, subscribe to it from the link given as you must be either be a weekly newsletter subscriber or a CEC member on a certain date to be eligible for any collective offers.
MSE Roxanne said on another thread today that as prices are rising, you may be able to get better savings now from normal market deals as nothing is known about future collective deals.0 -

I am from the mid-Jurassic period so have no idea what you just said, but thank you for saying it. I get the weekly email, have done for years... at some point, I must have clicked the correct button. Huh? So the news is there is no news, yes?0 -
Yes , no news about any future MSE collective deal.
And it wasn't Roxanne but MSE Laura who posted todayHi johnpr98,
We’re aiming to run another collective switch soon, hopefully undercutting the market's cheapest when it launches but I'm afraid we don't yet have any further details around dates which we can share.
However research undertaken by our editorial team highlights that the prices of the cheapest fixed tariffs are starting to rise and so if this trend continues, a collective tariff may be more expensive than today’s cheapest. It’s a little bit of a wait and see – but for more on this topic do check out our recent news story.

So it may not be a good idea to wait for MSE to come up with a deal in the future IF you can get a good deal now.0 -
Being a member of the MSE Energy Club, and taking part in the collective switch for the last couple of years. I really hoped they would have had some advice ready, now our one year deal is approaching its end.
Although the year is up in September, EON, are already sending emails to get me to agree to a new tariff.
So when you say working on deals and them being in the weekly emails, are these the Energy Club deals?0
