Hi everyone, glorious day here, cycled along the prom at 7am this morning, and went in for a swim this afternoon. I'm so lucky to live near the sea.

Leftovers for tea, certainly not putting the oven on today!

Just enjoying sitting in the shade, before we go and water the lottie.

  • Gosh it has been a hot day.

Our handyman rang to see if he could come and fit in a couple of jobs, he was at stalemate with a kitchen. We now have a water butt from the gutter on the coal shed and also from the shed gutter, we have 2 reserve tanks that we can fill as well. He also mended the bedside table drawer for me.

Have just spent an hour watering the garden, it's cooled down a bit now. Just been in the bath for a sloosh, neither of us can sit down in the bath. Will be really glad when we get the shower sorted.

Time to climb the hill to Bedfordshire, except we have no stairs.

    Night night.

just had my third shower today, one this morning ,one before I went to the pub quiz and one when I came home again before finally getting ready for bed I have a walk-in shower which is brilliant and a tepid shower works wonders on a hot sticky day/night.
Just off to bed now and the temperature is around 24c and very uncomfortable, just no breeze at all, still only until Thursday then things will get back to normal again.a nice 21c is just right for me :)
Night Night God bless all here xx
