Exchanging Sterling to euro

What is the best way to transfer a large amount (small house worth) of sterling to euro, minimising commissions etc. Through our bank? Post office? Are there other, better options? All help greatly appreciated! Thanking you kindly in advance xxx

Hi you should look at companies such as moneycorp - they do special deals on rates when changing more than £5k. Look for specialist firms such as them as they are likely to be the most secure and you are likely to get the best rates that way.

I used Moneycorp and was very happy with them; lots more cost effective than banks and the PO would probably lose it in the post (lol).
