Need a shower timer

  • B&Q do them, egg timer type, for free.
  • not everyone needs or wants to wash their hair everyday (with some hair types daily washing does more harm than good). therefore if you are not washing your hair a 4 minute shower just to clean yourself should be plenty.

Hallelujah! My son came up with a solution himself - sets his mobile for 5 minutes and gets out when it rings (repeatedly). Tried to wangle the £10 'saving' on a timer out of me but he must have forgotten what a mad moneysaver his mum is!:D

I have tried the turning the taps on downstairs while turning on both the dishwasher and washing machine and watering the garden...nothing works!

I shall be watching this thread ;)

There's a tap (stopcock) under the sink, try turning that off :T
  • I was in hospital a few weeks ago and the shower there only produced water while you were pushing the button. Let go of the button, to soap your self, and the water stopped.
