What is it with boys and washing.....
And showering twice a week was an improvement on showering when the smell became so strong I couldn't bear it any longer! :rotfl:Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
:rotfl: I have no idea ... however I am wondering if DS2 has a girlfriend because he has suddenly gone from showering twice a week to showering every night ... :j :rotfl:

Ah ha.....but, is he using soap and shampoo?? :rotfl:
My son can shower, wash his hair and brush his teeth without actually using any shampoo, shower gel or toothpaste! How do I know? Simple, I set traps to catch him out :cool:My second favorite household chore is ironing. My first being, hitting my head on the top bunk bed until I faint.-Erma Bombeck-~ Member of the MSE Celebdaq Minileague ~0 -

DS3 seems to think he can get away without cleaning his teeth at night, so when he says "I've done it!" I ask him to breathe on me! :rotfl:
I'm just wondering though: is 5 minutes enough? I think it takes me more than 5 minutes to shower, by the time I've rinsed my hair properly and scrubbed the rest of me thoroughly, and I've got short-ish hair. DS3 and DS1 both have LONG hair, and I know when I had long hair it used to take an age to rinse properly.
I would go for the audible timer myself, I'm sure no boy would be able to see the egg-timer one while washing his hair. Or he'd spend the whole 5 minutes watching it and not showering properly! :rotfl:Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Well, we seem to be getting through showergel faster than we used to!
Hmmm.....we have phases where we have the same shower gel problem but I did actually catch him out recently. He was just standing there emptying the gel down the plughole :eek:My second favorite household chore is ironing. And that one only allows you four minutes!
come on, who can HONESTLY shower, including washing hair, in four minutes?Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
My stepson actually used to put the shower on, then sit on the toilet & fall asleep! How's that for wasting water. His Dad had the lovely job of smelling his armpits when he said he'd finished. He actually has a girlfriend too. I couldn't stand it if my OH didn't wash.
Praises be he's moved out!0 -
Put the radio on, then its 2 tunes and you're out! OK 3 if hes on a promise:)0
