A few years ago, in the summer, I had a cat who seemed to spend all its time in my garden amd was a little obsessed with me (I called him Stalker Cat) Towards the end of the summer I was a bit worried abot whether he had a home to go to as it was getting colder. I managed to get him in a cat carrier and took him to the vets up the road. All the way there he was shouting at me and when we were at the vets he wouldn't look at me. He had a home just round the corner from me and they called his owner who arranged to pick him up.

I thought I would never see him again as he was so annoyed with me but a couple of hours later he turned up in my garden, as loving as ever and with a new collar on with his owners phone number. I texted her to let her know that I was happy to have his company, I wouldn't feed him and gave her my address if she needed to find him.

He actually progressed to coming into my flat, sleeping with me, then going out early morning probably home to be fed. I seriously didn't have much choice with him coming in at night as he would look through my window and shout at me until I let him in. He was a bengal so he was VERY loud. It was a lovely no responsibility and all the affection cat relationship until I moved out a couple of months later. When I left my flat for the last time after cleaning it, he was standing at my garden gate shouting at me as I walked away. I did miss him.

    Good luck with the vet
Pickles is fantastic they love her (she puts the charm on and does the helpless kitten thing) vet nurse is now also calling her pickle lol and has suggested I let her live with her NO.
Tigerbabies is a vicious thug so he's not as popular (they are gentless with him because he's a batter scarred old broken legged sod, said nurse was hand feeding him dreamies and he didn't punch her in the face)

Tomcat becomes super pathetic he actually squeaks like a mouse and looks sorry for himself, wold probably work better if he wasn't the size a 2year old
  • Rescue centres recommend (assuming you can get close enough) that you attach a paper collar with your number on & a message asking the 'owner' to get in touch. If after a week or so there is no response then go ahead with neutering etc.
