Youth Group Bank Account

we have a non profit youth group for which we need a bank account. We are starting to hold summer camps etc and need an account to process cheques in the name of the organisation. I believed the account we need to be a trustee account.
Does anyone know what kind off account I need to talk to bank about and who might be best to go with.
thanks

I think its probably a treasurers account. U would need to have at least two signatories. other than that it runs exactly the same way as any other bank account.0

There are probably some useful stickies on the Small Biz & Charity Organisers board. Novelli's got it about right, but all the banks offer something slightly different and you need to find something convenient as well as FREE! You may need to draw up a simple constitution to mandate the opening of a bank account.Signature removed for peace of mind0
