I booked a return Edinburgh - Johannesburg flight with BA for travel in November - they have cancelled the London - Edinburgh return flight I was booked on and put us on a later flight which now involves a 5 hr wait at Heathrow whereas previously was 2hrs. Am I entitled to any compensation

No not within the 14 day prior period however a "I'm disappointed" email to BA may get you a free pass into the Heathrow lounge if you word your email sensibly.0

Thanks - probably should have picked up the 14 day period somewhere but could not find it. I have access to the lounge plus one guest but also travelling with my daughter as well so you suggestion makes excellent sense0
