Friday 15th July - what small DFW things will you do today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important! :money:

Morning it's Friiiiddaaaaay :j:j:j lots going on - last days of school for the smalls before school holiday, I'm off work and I'm swapping my car :T:T:T (it's a work car so no additional outgoings for me, in fact it will be cheaper as my tax will go down massively :T)
Anyway, things for the day:
Check banking, TT to savings
Moved money for some house/clothes things I bought yesterday from piggy to right account
First load outside, another on, squeezed in a bit of cheap leccy
Last of strawberries on turn for breakfast
Quick tidy round before I go away
Check surveys, FPL, do 2 surveys on computer I can't do on my pad
Check annoying things list have neglected it for a while
Call and book valuation, mortgage offer arrived yesterday
Enjoy your day folks.0 -
Morning PF sounds like a lot going on, exciting having a new car!
Need to pay in wages for job no. 2 today and try and find out about DS1 changing from a junior to an adult bank account. Just hope he doesnt need to make an appointment with an adviser to do it.
Trip to Li*l for shopping, have made a list. Work on both jobs, although I am working from home on job no. 2 so could catch up tomorrow.
Hoping that DS1 might have heard something from the job applications he has done, need to keep looking online for him.
Have a good Friday everyone x0 -

There's not much going on here today for me to be honest. Im really tired and could do with a nap before work.
Payroll messed up my pay again after reassuring me yesterday it would all go through. They said I should receive the rest of the amount this afternoon. We shall see. I'll check later or else I'll be on the phone to them moaning once again. This gives me great anxiety
I don't plan on spending anything today. I need to move some money around im accounts so I suppose here is my list to do.
- Set up extra bank account.
- Transfer money across between banks
- When and if my money goes in, allocate it to correct funds.
- Still need to send off some timesheets from last month, oops.
I've work at 4pm till midnight again. My last shift is tomorrow afternoon. I'll have Sunday off to recuperate then I'm back in next week on these wonderful shifts again.
The problem with doing shifts at enhanced rate means I get taxed more. Not quite sure if worth it. But it's extra money.[STRIKE]superhero.[/STRIKE]
current debt as of 11/7/16: £1000.
all I want is to live a simple but pleasurable lifestyle and be happy.0 -

Very sad news from France
For me today:
Washing dried on line outside
Walked to post office with ebay parcel
Listed a couple more bits, but it has slowed up this week
Ironing
Shortened 2 pairs of OH's trousers that he was moaning about
Walked dog. He met a bouncy 23 week old rottweiler puppy whom he told off. HE is normally the bouncy puppy who gets told off :rotfl: And he is about the size of the rotty pup's head :rotfl::rotfl:
A few onepoll surveys
Just sold something on ebay :T
Made a casserole, which we will have with HG veg for dinner0
