Absolutely the advice and support here has been invaluable and made me realise that I am not going mad, this man really is being very vindictive and trying to use the Court system to frighten me.
I will run up this thread now thanking peopleAlwaysOnTheGo ~ Debt Free Wannabe no 537 Motto: This Too Shall Pass Repayment Mortgage £152k Cabot £5.8k at £1 pcm[/B] Every day I wake up happy to be over the darkest days of financial gloom New Debt the remortgage at 2.27% until 11/20270 -
He will, one day, try it on with someone who doesn't settle these matters in court, but down a dark alley. Sooner rather than later, I hope.I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.0

I have received a Letter today from from AYL commercial, based in Dartford, requesting immediate payment from a debt that as far as I was concerned was satisfied last year.
After calling the number and speaking with a "{Edited by Forum Team}" I asked for him to send me the letters and documentation regarding the debt via email. To which he replied he couldn't because his secretary was away but if I didn't pay by Wednesday he was going to take me to court.
I went home and spoke with my partner who called "{Edited by Forum Team}" and asked for the letter of the debt that had been assigned and a copy of the original agreement, "{Edited by Forum Team}" then shouted I don't have that information and hung up, and has since not picked up the phone.
This company is very unprofessional, reduced me to tears told me to go and get a job and pay for this debt, then when speaking with my partner (who is a bit better at these things) kept hanging up because he didn't have the answers to my partners questions. If it turns out i do owe the money then of course I will pay but I am not going to give money over to a company as rude and unprofessional as this who cant even provide the most basic of information.0 -

Just Spoke to the company who "{Edited by Forum Team}" supposedly was instructed by, and referred to as his client, They have confirmed that they never instructed him have no idea who he is and that I do not owe any money as the balance was paid when I thought it was.
The Guy is clearly a {Edited by Forum Team}, I have reported him and will provide all evidence of correspondence as well as recorded phone conversations to him!
I doubt this will stop him continuing to try and rip off and intimidate women. I just hope people can read the comments on here before falling for his threatening !!!!!!!!.0
