The fact that the website lists a mobile number makes it immediately very suspicious!!0

The only information I can find is that the sender, has a linked profile that shows she simultaneously works for 2 companies with identical job descriptions. The other being Carton Business Services who had their consumer credit licence revoked in 2011 after using scare tactics to force indebted consumers to pay up.
That company was found to lack sufficient skills, knowledge and experience to operate a consumer debt collection business. Specific points raised included that it did not have procedures to deal fairly and properly with consumers in place and that the payment demand letter was designed to look like an official or legal document, against OFT guidance. Finally it was noted that the managing director's described himself to debtors as a lawyer intended to create a misleading impression.
How do I find out if they have a consumer credit licence and who the MD is for both companies ?
I'm scared to bin it incase the 'debt' is increasing and I feel I need to acknowledge it but am also worried that if I acknowledge it in any way I am accepting liability.AlwaysOnTheGo ~ Debt Free Wannabe no 537 Motto: This Too Shall Pass Repayment Mortgage £152k Cabot £5.8k at £1 pcm[/B] Every day I wake up happy to be over the darkest days of financial gloom New Debt the remortgage at 2.27% until 11/20270 -
Just ignore it and if they must let them take you to court it would at least be a fun day out, of course they won't turn up.0

If you genuinely received a £3000 gift and then offered to repay it and was refused, then ignore anything thats sent to you and move on.0 -

If the loan was more than six years ago, and you haven't made a payment or acknowledged the amount as a debt in those six years, then the debt is statute barred anyway and cannot be taken to court.
So sit back and have a cup of tea."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
