I've done quite a bit this morning so far.- [STRIKE]Sort out payroll to be paid tomorrow [/STRIKE]. I rang up earlier as it appeared they hadn't even included my basic wage, I'd be about £400 down. So we'll see tomorrow if they have sorted it. I won't be happy if not.
- [STRIKE]Carry out freezer inventory.[/STRIKE]I've gone through all our freezers this morning and wrote everything down into categories.
- Reorganise freezers so we know where everything is and what to use first.
- Make a meal plan for next week to use up what we have in stores

That's all for now.
Yum to the leek and potato soup, & well done on being so organised." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Evening all
Thanks for starting the thread Ally
For me today:
Popped along to next town for a mooch round and to go to their market which is much bigger, better and cheaper than ours. Didn't need much, so didn't spend much
Got a couple of tops for me, and some shirts for OH from one of the charity shops
HM meals
Came back and made a rhubarb pie, a quiche, and some of that biscuit stuff you make with leftover bits of pastry with a bit of butter, sugar and dried fruit added - don't know if it has a proper name, but my kids always called it 'pastry thing'
Watered everything that needed it in the back garden
Picked a few strawberries, not many more to come now unfortunately
Picked salad leaves, and a courgette to chop up and put in the quiche - goodness knows how many others there are
A load of washing, which I dried outside on the line
Brushed pup, and have the scars to prove it, as he thinks it is some kind of biting game :rotfl:
Started a shopping list, there won't be much on it this week, as I am trying to use what is in the freezer - might have to redo my inventory
Got some meat out of the freezer to make a casserole tomorrow, any odd bits from the fridge that didn't make it into today's quiche will find their way into that
Signed up to Ovo for our gas and electricity for another 12 months. They are so easy to deal with compared to the nightmares I have had with some of the others, that I didn't even bother with the comparison sites
OH did the hoovering, both dog walks and picked the broad beans :A0 -

I had a surprisingly good day actually. Ended up at my desk for 13 hours. Hopefully tomorrow I can do a shorter shift and have the weekend off.
Came home to DW's home-made stew and dumplings which was very welcome.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -

Thanks for taking the time to reply Bobarella, that little bit of feedback makes me feel much better, and more motivated to do something DFW today....... 18 months into my DFW journey, and these little nuggets mean a lot.0
