Another USA car hire insurance question

My son is off to Florida this week and has booked car hire through Alamo.co.uk. He chose them because they can provide adapted vehicles that meet his disability, at no extra cost. All seems great.

I've always been wary of all the US insurances, but the package Alamo offer includes all this:

• Tire/battery Fee .02 Per Day Per Day

• Vehicle License Fee
• Sales Tax
• Unlimited Mileage

So am I reading this right, and is there no need for any top-up insurance? I've used insurance4carhire in recent years to cover the £1000+ excess, but the Alamo package deal would appear to make that unnecessary.
Can anyone confirm that this is the case before I fork out on unneeded cover?

The Alamo insurance doesn't cover glass, tyres, wheels and keys. So i might be worth getting cover for that.

Did you book via Alamo Brits? You can save a little extra that way.
