Am I right in thinking that they can at least claim the tax back from the flights since they weren't used?

They rebooked new flights for today, but now they've been cancelled. I'll have to look into compensation claims now!

You can claim the tax back however most airlines have an admin charge .... ensure the admin charge is not greater that the tax back! Often not worth the hassle.


Provide details of the rebooked cancelled flights (I assume direct this time!) as appears a short duration between booking and cancellation.
