I was hoping I might just be able to buy a smaller 'circle' to go between them but I don't know what 'circle' would be called so can't search online. Any ideas? Really like shade and it was a good price so ideally don't want to take it back.
Have a good day folk. PF.
It's a lampshade reducer ring: B&Q (Link)...or Ikea...or the Rainforest People...or probably Homebase...or probably Screwfix.

Hi everyone :hello:
I really am back now, after almost 6 weeks of 16 hour+ working days. The marking is done - all I have left to do is write 9 reports, plus 7 more days of teaching and I can relax for the summer.
I know that this site is all about frugality and moneysaving, but I have a genuine question here. How much value do you put on your time? Whilst I've been so busy I've done barely anything in the house or garden and sometimes barely even managed to cook. Now there is a huge and insurmountable job to do to get back on top of it. I wonder if it's worth 'ready meals', 'someone to do my garden' etc. At the moment I'm so tired that I just want to sleep for a month - not housework or gardening (I hate it with a passion). I'm dealing with bigger issues at the moment to be honest but I just feel like I can't be bothered with anything.
So, I do need to get back into the MSE habit. Cash is tight as dh has been off work for the past 2 months with his broken ankle and ssp so I need to find some ways of cutting back. I will be back on in the morning (I hope - if I can get up in time) and posting my small list for the day.
Hope everyone is doing well...Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Welcome back Cat I think I would make a list of everything that needs doing then decide how annoying it is to you to see it left like that. If you can bear leaving things a while till you can tackle them do. If not I'd pay fof some help." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D
