All PAYG plans are much cheaper for EU roaming this year. Typically 4p per min for calls, 1p per text, both back to UK and to the host country. Data is 4p/MB. Received calls is free.

If you can manage without data, the costs on all networks are quite cheap, in some cases cheaper than being at home. You could use your existing SIM plan and avoid needing to use a different number.

Beware of the "special" EU roaming tricks from some networks where you opt in to roaming and pay around £2 per day...

I'm on 3 and use their feel at home regularly in Spain, but the OP asked about Greece, which isn't one of their feel at home destinations.

In fact 3 charge 1p per min to receive calls in Greece, O2 make no charge to receive calls in Greece.
