Hi everyone, hoping you can help.
Me and my wife are just moving in with friends from our own rented place for financial reasons and they have asked me to move our sky package over cause ours is cheaper then theirs and we get more for the money.
We had sky fibre for £10 per month with no line rental, however when enquiring to move they said the area we are moving into they don't service fibre there so it would go to the standard broadband.
In this instance, would we still have to give a full 31 day notice to cancel the internet if we were to take our Virgin fibre instead?
Thanks for taking the time to read

Mortgage co-ordinator for a building society
I carry out affordability assessments for new and existing customers.
I update customers during the application when they call, letting them know where things are at.
I also answer existing mortgage queries.

The key is your existing contract you will need to pay that off .As you would be cancelling and not taking a service it does not matter as to when but 30 days is the usual .0

This is a similar question to the more usual "with VM and moving house to an unsupported area" one.
You are terminating your contract and will need to meet all the usual charges that entails - a notice period or any early termination fees if still in a minimum term + the often forgotten Openreach disconnection charge (usually ~ £30).0
