I dont think I have a receipt though as bought it online. I will see if I kept my confirmation email. Thanks for replies. Very upset right now as I think I remember seeing the damage on the box but never thought tv wasnt protected. :( Will try to call them later on when their customer service opens and if no chance we will go get new one as builders put the brackets in the kitchen and look odd with no tv on it.

Because its all registered online. They dont give you receipt or delivery note when you buy it online from argos. If you want to return anything you call, they come and pick it up. Its obviously different when its a damaged tv. I just wanted to know my rights, if any. Thanks.

Good to hear a retailer not hiding behind T&Cs and going the extra mile.

The onus would have been on you to check the box at the time of delivery and reject it then, not two months later.

When you sign for a delivery from Argos all you are signing for is the delivery, Not the condition of the item.

You have 30 days money back guarantee
    Owing on CC £00.00 :j
