Hello!
Is there a map to check where there are speed cameras at the road I am passing by near my area?
Ideally I need a map, ie. google map, that speed cameras will be noted on it.
thanks!

Freely available on the Internet or sat nav. It won't of course help you if the police decide to do some enforcement.

Depends if people know what the speed limits are then this is easy to do.

If you don't know the speed limit of the road you're on then you shouldn't really be behind the wheel.

Back to the OP, have you tried googling the information you're after.

I wouldn't go that far, there are plenty of roads (in Wales for example), where a 30 limit will continue 5 miles into rural A roads after a small/tiny village, you've got 10 cars behind you, all tailgating and your sat there thinking "did I miss a speed limit sign???".

It's not always easy to figure out the speed limit and I personally think it has to be deliberate.

You can get maps that show you positions of fixed speed cameras. However you can't get a map that tells you when there are 2 bobbies stood with a speed gun round the corner and their T5 hidden behind a hedge. Or for that matter the speed vans that park in any given layby the feel like.

Google speed camera map and the first result beyond the adverts in one you could use.

    .

........and then you look out of the windscreen and notice if there any street lights or repeater signs.

The problem is that on some roads the limit changes so often in quite short distances, I remember a few years back, driving on a road somewhere near Huddersfield, the speed limit seemed to change from 30 to 40, back to 30 again on a regular basis and some of the signs were not easy to see due to heavy vegetation and of coarse, there were quite a few speed cameras, I'm convinced that on that particular road it was all done as a cash cow.

I know plenty of rural areas with 30mph speed limits, no street lighting and repeater signs often obstructed by vegetation.
