Are you counting down the hours to freedom yet, Karmacat?
Counted and done :j:j:j thanks MaryB :) Tomorrow is the "off" Friday in my fortnightly schedule, and no one booked in, as I'd been on at everyone to make sure they booked their last sessions - no one left it till the last moment :j good prepping by all concerned!

  • We're off to Umbria in three weeks time, staying with friends who were 30 miles from the epicentre. Fortunately, their apartment(s) are new builds and conform to the modern building regs. She said they were awakened by the noise of the wardrobe skittering across the floor, but no damage. It was mostly the older historic buildings that have tumbled.
So very sorry for the people affected though. Her cousin's office was destroyed but his house and family were safe, thankfully.
We shall visit as planned, but be prepping for more than mozzie bites this time!
    Normal people worry me.

Thank you all! I'm very chuffed :) it was a fulfilling job, but really burned out, time to go - so I did, eventually :) my prepping is going to be affected positively too ... even in a minor way. Now I don't have clients in and out of my house 5 days a week, avoiding even seasonal flu, let alone pandemic flu, becomes a lot easier.

In the meantime, though, it's just about clearing the counselling room and clearing the office. There may also be lounging about on the patio :D there may even be lengthy soaks in the bath :D there's certainly going to be a lot of catching up with people :A

I only retired due to health. I had a fantastic job and missed the work and my colleagues (as well as the money :().
But be warned. Your time will fill up like a handbag :rotfl: You will wonder how you fitted everything in. ;)
