Am I the only one who puts smalls on the inside of a rotary dryer and then pegs towels round the outside?
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

I do that, but mainly through space usage rather than not wanting people to see
I wanna be in the room where it happens

That’s really why I do it as well. We’re not overlooked at the back so I don’t need to worry about neighbours being traumatised by the sight of my harvest festivals, but it makes sense to hang them that way as they are much quicker to unpeg if they are all close together on the short bits of line

    Nope, and I'm a bloke.

Pants in the middle, then vests, then towels, then sheets. No-one's going to see my undies without a drone. :)

    Smalls?

    SMALLS?

It's obvious you've never been unfortunate enough to see mine!

I'm just watching this video linked from Zerohedge. (I know he looks like a hillbilly, but he makes a lot of sense.)

Mar, thats a good question ... I'll be watching to see if anyone does.

As to underwear ... I have a washing line in my back garden, I peg it out if there's room (its collapsing inward, as the stakes are pulled by the line, every so often I re-do them). I think everyone who can see my back garden is aware that I live alone ... so be it. If I get night vision binocs, I'm one up :D

  • Undies go up first on the rotary drier then tops and jumpers followed by trousers and fleeces and the towels and sheets/duvet covers go on the outside on the longest line spaces. Not because we're likely to be perused but because that's the best way to catch the wind and dry the washing. Line in in the back garden behind the house and only a couple of neighbours would be able to see it from their bedroom windows if they leaned out. We're far too boring and old to be of interest to anyone!!!
