What fun, thriftwizard. Can you imagine being the digger driver or whomever who uncovered the bomb? What a moment that must have been.
Here, we occasionally have to have the bomb squad up to the main waste recovery facility, as some citizens put their unwanted hand grenades into their household recycling bins.
As you do. Wouldn't want to risk them blowing up the landfill site, hey? And if we can recycle bean cans and shampoo bottles, why should we baulk at live explosives? Many strange things end up in the recycling stream but the hand grenades, explosives, fireworks and live ammunition are the scariest ones. The dead animals are just icky.*
Given the random acts of the public, I'm not sure we need terrorists in order to have some shockingly dangerous things going on.
VJsMum, I thought I probably would almost be acheiving SABLE with the crystal deos but, as I can't possibly see how they can 'go off' and things are only likely to go up in price, I thought I might as well buy them now rather than later. I will hopefully not drop them, but we established earlier that you can dissolve the fragments and apply the solution to your pits from a spritzer bottle. Waste not, want not.
* correct form for handling dead animals is to plant them in your garden or, if you haven't one, double plastic bag the dead animal or bird and put it into the refuse bin or the on-street refuse bin. Refuse, not recycle.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Modi must like living dangerously. People have been assassinated for less. The list of suspects would be an awful long one.
Meanwhile, in the real world, the winter planting season is being disprupted because the farmers buy seed for cash and.... wait for it........ they've not got the money any more.
I have begun the process of acquiring a stash of plastic fivers (ghastly toytown money, IMO). I have four thus far, and that's only from one day of deciding to accumulate them.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

I've been using Crystal deos for years now and am only on my second stone. It is looking a bit stunted now but I have it's brother from the penny sale at H & B's to start on eventually. It's a good idea to spritz the remains 'cos you can use it on your feet as well in high summer!Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

We're quite used to explosions here in Dorset too, thanks to a certain Mr. J. Clarks0n... but look, I've found a picture of a caravan he hasn't blown up or dropped from a great height. Yet....

I once tried to have cyber sex, but the USB socket was way too small for me.0

A really scary moment happened on a quiet street on Tuesday evening. Imagine terraced houses, the electricity supplies runs on cables fastened onto the back of the houses - like a long line of rope.

Thankfully no one was hurt and the main power supply was off for a few hours after it

The first thing I noticed was my kitchen light flickering, because everything was switched off as I was on my way to bed. At the same time DD shouts down her bulbs are flickering, well more like a disco as she has 4 bulbs. Runs up stairs, turns her lights off.
Then an almighty bang bang bang just like fireworks. All the night sky lit up.
Mum head kicks in. Right get dressed, unplug everything - out of the sockets.
Torches. check
bag sorted in case of evac. check
dog leads and collars where is the other lead? oh well
Me, dd, ds, all dressed, little one alseep but ready to grab and go with him, cos you never know
That was the scariest thing I have ever seen or heard.
Rain had got into the cables.0
