My New Avatar.

Hi ive uploaded my new Avatar which is 80x80 1.72Kb but why is my old Avatar still showing and it says file uploaded ok.

Clear your cache, or try Ctrl R to force a full refresh of the page.

I see the Joker as your avatar.

Both your avatars are the Joker. Therefore your avatar is 'still' the Joker.

As an experiment I temporarily switched to the new version of the forum whereupon your avatar switched to the old one - so I switched back to the old version and got your new avatar again!

Uploaded a new Avatar just now and on the "old look forum" I get the new Avatar and on the "new look forum" I get the old picture I can't move the old picture grrr grrrr

I think you have already established what the fix is - move to the old forum skin (as many of us such as savemoney uses)

The problem lies with the new all singing, all dancing (according to MSE) forum skin. Your problem is just one of many they created when they decided to move from the old skin.

The fact is, the new skin can't sing, can't dance, and looks awful ... but the powers that be have decided that is what you will have by default (at least they still allow you to change it back to the previous skin that does work)

But we've had that arguement, we've had that vote ... and the powers that be decided they know best; this is not a democracy!

The days of this forum are surely numbered anyway, as Martin obviously now prefers Twitter, so perhaps MSE deciding to give forum users what they don't want, and making life generally difficult for them, may entice others to use Twitter over this forum in future. I think that is the end game here...
