PurpleFairy, Have you been happy with that meat pack you got the other week? My freezer's looking emptier and so I'm thinking of ordering..
Very impressed. Lovely tasting meat, lean too which is good as watching (trying anyway) what I eat
I'll PM you the link if you want to use it by all means do, if not no matter. The only things that wasn't our taste (but it may just be that we cooked them in the oven and would have been tastier bbq'd or fried ) was chicken burgers. They were just a bit dry. Rest had been really good and exceptional value. Will prefer again when we've used it up.
Sounds like you have had a good afternoon with the family.0 -

Use blueberries and banana that have Sen better days in a smoothie
Think that's about all, enjoy your day folks. PF.
Managed to get some washing on the line this afternoon. Used 7 colour catcher sheets :eek: think I have most of it
I ordered the comfort sample. Thanks legomum for the tip off
Ventured off the board :eek: and came across a great workaround to get some additional discount on J0ules. Ordered 5 presents in sale, saved £10 on top if sale prices. Plus cashback tracked too. Ordered a further 3 Christmas presents from another site whilst ordering something for DM. Got free deliver due to combined amount :T just watching film with smalls and then will spend some quality time with DH tonight.0 -
ALERT:
Seems to be a false positive for a Trojan Hourse on the MSE Forum site.
When you go into the MSE site some virus checking software will tell you that the Forum is infected with a Trojan which may be passed on to your computer. When you run a virus scan it says your computer isn't infected.
Long and short of it: you might catch a Trojan from the site; but probably not. Your virus checker is probably hallucinating. The jury's still out.
Personally I would go into whatever virus checking software you have and click "update virus definitions" to make sure your computer has the latest "innoculations" before visiting the Forum.

Hi guys thanks for the thread PF
ally - my keyboard keeps jumping around all over the place so I end up inserting words/parts of words/sentences all over the place, highlighting a chunk and when I continue typing wiping it out, inserting smilies and it's newest trick it will dart for one letter and then go back to where I was typing. Means typing anything out is a massive pain and I give up half the time!
Small things for today
* NSD
* load of washing dried on the line
* went to the allotment for 3 hrs
* a fellow allotmenteer lent me from weed control fabric to over up a section as mulch - very exciting as I have been looking for some and it was going to cost me £38 (oh has offered to pay 1/2). Will still need to get some but not as much
* planted a courgette plant where the garlic was. growing it in a pot but it just wasn't doing very well. Have been in 2 minds about moving it as it's fruiting but decided to give it a go and if it doesn't survive cest la vie!
* made batch of ratatouille to use up hm courgettes, served with pasta and enough for dinner Monday or Tuesday
* watered all vegies - runner beans and dwarf beans producing
* shower instead of bath
* film and evening with oh
That's me xDF as at 30/12/16

OK DNM...you can probably fix this in 5 minutes.
I'm going to turn on my psychic powers (which I call Dowd-Dar) and work out what's wrong with your keyboard...my first psychic prediction is that you have laptop and you don't use a mouse with a cable but you use a square touchpad instead.
If my Dowd-Dar is working then it's your wee square touchpad that's giving you this problem. If the settings on the touchpad are wrong it can produce this problem. While you are typing on the keyboard the TouchPad thinks you're touching it when you're not and that's moving your cursor; it's over-sensitive.
A solution would be to go into your TouchPad settings and correct them. To do this you need to find your TouchPad settings. If you have Windows 8 you'd find them by clicking on the Windows icon, clicking Search type "Mouse and TouchPad Settings" then open those settings.
You'll see a box where you can choose Touchpad Settings. Choose "Medium Delay".
If you also see a Setting called "Enable Tap" take the tick away next to that.
This should fix it. If it doesn't Dowd-Dar says it could be a Boot Sector Virus. So can your machine for viruses.
If this doesn't work download TouchFreeze and install that. (Link)

Hope everyone's alright. Legomum sounds like you had a great cosy day in with the boys and cousin.
Pooped. Today has involved cycling, a precious hour's business planning at a cafe whilst OH looked after the kids. Lots of walking, our first BBQ of the year, & another 2 ebay sales. Up to £23 made this month so far and 27 comics off my hands. All good there.

Hi all, sounds like a good day Bob. Issues with both teenagers last night. Youngest went out then rang me and asked if he could go to a party and stay there, even though there was no information on where the party was or who the parents were. Said firmly no but worried that he might just go anyway, thankfully he didnt. Eldest wasnt home when he was supposed to be. DH and I argued over it, evening ruined and we had to go out and collect DS2 at midnight.
So I am a bit tired this morning. DS2 is playing cricket so I might go and watch for a bit then wander into town. I am officially having a day off today. Have done my finances and got 1 load of washing in. Made a vege curry last night and there is loads left but no-one else will eat it so I might portion it up and freeze it.
Oh and the sun is shining for once!0 -
Hi July Joculants,
Breaking the habit of a lifetime and sitting in bed with the laptop and a cup of tea. In the dark as DW is still asleep.
Will be taking DW and her nasty eye infection to the optician again later. The prescribed eye drops seem to be making it worse. Oh Smurf we'll need to get petrol....May have a wee look around the town before we go into Speccy's.
Will have to put heating on to dry work clothes. It's rained for a week here.
Debt Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Two:
* Unsubscribed from a few junk emails.
* Did RM Surveys.
* Checked online banking.
* Alarm clock off at the wall til tonight.
* Listen to free podcasts on the BBC iPlayer. Perhaps some stand-up comedy this morning.
* After freezer diving yesterday we'll be having a roast chicken today which we'll turn into rubber chicken after. (Link)
How about you folks?
