Not a pop at any individual, its just how the forum is as a whole, best you can do is take part yourself and give help and information as you would like someone to give it to you. New people get flamed here, thats just standard procedure
Nah, what have I gained from even 'coming out, and asking advice on here? A few lovely, genuine people and a lot of criticism, mind mucking. I'd stay away, but pm me, as I care. I will take this further, but just to complain how bad it is.0 -

Are we reading different threads?0 -

Nobody's putting anybody down, just being realistic. It's foolish to think that the standards at somewhere like Bolton or Lincoln are the same as those at a Russell Group university.
(I went to grammar school as well and I'm not daft enough to think that my degree from Essex is equivalent to a degree from Cambridge.:D)0 -

Please - quote the actual posts that you have found to be 'critical' and 'mind mucking'.
You appear to be over reacting to simple comments.:hello:0 -

RoccoBunny wrote: »And you have also manipulated the train of this thread by deleting your earlier posts. Tellitt has deleted theirs completely. Sorry, but stay with your convictions, ridiculous, and then you have the tenacity to come back on this thread and try to stir it up again. Sigh, I learnt about people like you in the First Class degree I got :-)
I have not deleted any of my posts, and am baffled by your comments.0 -

I admit you kinda annoyed me with how you tried to come at me previously and I really want to give you a good roasting but whatever, I'll play nice.
IMO just move on, I'm sure there are people making threads who actually want your input.
Give the OP a break now guys, there is no pleasure in e-bullying people.0 -

If you are not even married yet, then why even be picking up on this, He did not cheat on me, nor me him. Sometimes marriages do not work for other reasons, and the courts decide who has put what into the marriage, and what they are likely to acheive in years to come. Lifetime maintenance is very rare nowadays.
You thanked Voyager for standing up for you against xapprenticex and now you accuse them of deleting posts. I have been following this thread from the begininng and I can't see where they deleted posts.
I think yours is a really great achievement in the face of the obstacles you undoubtedly faced, but on this thread you have come across as quite argumentative and demanding of respect. That won't serve you well in the working world. Like the rest of us you will be just another employee with a degree.
As MissBiggles said, degrees carry with them the kudos or otherwise of their awarding University. That is a fact, so a degree from Bolton, UCLAN or somewhere similar will not confer the same status on the candidate as Cambridge, Warwick, York, Leeds or (University of) Manchester subject dependent. Degrees, be they a First, 2.1 or 2.2 are not the same across the board, nor are they viewed in the same way by employers.
If posters have changed their stance towards you, it may be because of your posts, not because they have changed their views on your accomplishment.0 -

Cannot even be bothered trying to analyse what went wrong, but I know threads become very nasty quickly.
Vulnerable people are not able/ confident, to post on this forum, and will be making Martin aware.0
