YOU MUST ONLY :
Deal directly with the court.
failure to do so will result in a CCJ.
You do not have time to start making offers, you should select defend claim in full and start researching.
Ignore and pay and they will be back, nightly, permit or no permit.
What is the circumstances and why did you not have a permit.
If it was the management agents failing to provide one then you can counter sue the whole amount from them, they will need to pay a solicitor, they wont be happy with the parking firm. .I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -
Never pay a private parking scammer, let them rot in hell. :rotfl:PPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue. :eek:0

Ask them to tell you the name and contact details of the person who will act as witness and dates when they will be available. That may make them think again about washing their hands of something that is their problem.
Thank you very much.
Is there any obligation for them to actually turn-up or provide any witness statement in small claims court? And even if I was to call them, they'd more likely be on the parking contractors side?0 -
Yes they are more likely to be on the parking firm's side and to wash their hands of it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

What are peoples advice on privateparkingappeals.co.uk at the stage that I am at? Would they be worthwhile in preparing a defence if it comes to that?0
-
No-one here will give you any recommendation for the firm you mention.
And beware getting pms from anyone offering to help you!0 -
-
Why would this forum get involved recommending any paid for service?0
-
Because if it was worthwhile then it would be good advice to give.
I was only asking as someone earlier suggested it and it is mentioned on parking prankster0 -
