Euros for Cyprus holiday

Hi guys

Im going on holiday to Cyprus in 2 weeks, ive not been on holiday abroad for a long time (11 years!).The hotel we are staying in is just bed and breakfast so we will be eating out alot so will be needing a fair whack of cash with us for spends. Ive just looked up on the info here about these credit cards to use abroad and im not sure I want to go down that route.

I dont want to apply for a credit card, ive got bad credit and would rather not have to put an application in that would likely be rejected?

What's the best option other than a credit card? Ive got a Halifax debit card so from what I gather from reading here I should avoid using that abroad. What about these pre paid cards? Would that work for me? Im thinking maybe get some cash changed over before I leave and then have some money on a prepaid card?

Im a complete novice so any help would be appreciated.

Revolut is the best value prepaid card if you use a smartphone, FairFX if not.

    Where in Cyprus?

There are ATM's in all towns and some villages.

There are also several places that will buy your Sterling cash for a similar (?) rate to the one you will get in a 'hole in the wall'.
