Still waiting on the solicitors. Hopefully all the paperwork is done now and on Monday they will be requesting the money from Precise. The solicitor has had the paperwork for 4 weeks now. Precise were fast but the solicitor downright atrocious. Hopefully will be done within the week fingers crossed0

Yeah!!!!! Well done. We’re STILL waiting on the solicitors. They have got everything signed now so I don’t understand why they cannot just request the funds from Precise. We could have been done weeks ago if it wasn’t for the solicitor. It’s not as though we are not paying them a lot. They are charging £800 cos it included as transfer of deed from me and my ex to me and my husband. My ex received and signed his paperwork and took it into the solicitors on the same day so that’s not the hold up. :mad:0 -
Precise were the easy bit in our move (our chain was us and our buyer as we moved into new build) offer in three weeks tools nearly 4 months in total for us to move!!!0

Completed our purchase yesterday! Solicitor was brilliant. Started application 9th September, offer given 24th October and completed 6th December. The day before my mortgage offer ran out! Was very stressful process 3 months in total and numerous documents later we have finally got there!0

FINALLY completed today!!!! 11 weeks from application being submitted. Precise took only 3 from application to offer but the rest of the time has been the dreadful solicitors. We only completed today after a massive rant from me to the solicitor after them saying it could be the first week in January!!!!
Just so happy now to have the remortgage in place and having bought my ex out of the house I feel free!!!
Hope everyone else gets their completion soon. Xxx0 -
Hi everyone just wanted to say hang in there it’s all worth it in the end. We have just spent our first Christmas in our new home can’t beliebe we have been in two months already. Good luck everyone xx0

Been following this forum for a long time now and after the long long wait we finally got our offer on Tuesday.
We submitted our application on the 11th of Nov then had multiple request from Precise which I now see is normal.
Was supposed to complete on our new build before christmas but due to the hold ups of precise this was not achieved.
Now I am wondering how long it will be before the mortgage deeds are sent for us to sign from the conveyancer and how long this process will be. If anyone has any information on this it would be appreciated.0
