  • We got good news yesterday! After me sending a hefty email to my solicitor stating we were pulling out if things werent progressed a few hours later & precises lawyers finally got the missives completed!

10 weeks on Monday since we accepted the offer!

Been a long stressful time but now we are moving this Thursday coming! Now we just have one weekend to pack up a 3 bedroom house with a 5month old & a 3 year old! Lol but at least we are moving!
  • Just a wee update. Moving into our house on Friday woo hoo. It’s took a while but not through anything to do with us was the seller. So all sorted now he’s been kind enough to give us a key to get started so two rooms done already. Good luck everyone the wait is worth it :j

Congrats Annie we haven’t even exchanged yet. Otherside being very slow and my Solicitors wel just incompetent about to go one week 9 and we were supposed to exchange at week 4
  • Greetings

Our application was submitted to Precise on the 10th and today they have asked for -

    1. Proof of residency for me 2015 - even though on voters role
    2. Asked what a payment to SFA is on my bank statement - £25 for a small ISA
    3. Payment to ex-partner each month questioned - child maintenance I pay each month, same amount and same date
    4. Questioned why I have received credits from a cash back website and credit from Stubhub - seem quite explanatory for me
    5. Proof of how savings obtained

The valuation was carried out last week apparently and I hope that means we have a decent chance.

Have submitted all of the o/s items back to my mortgage broker within 30 minutes and now we wait another week.....
  • Got our offer today! Get in!! 6 weeks from app...good luck to those who are waiting
  • Just had our offer! Application was submitted 22nd August I'm so happy!
  • We’ve been waiting almost 8 weeks now!! If it wasn’t for the fact we’re in a very unusual circumstance I wouldn’t be continuing with them! Atrocious service!! Finally got the call from our broker first thing last tues to say all was fine & offer had been made & would arrive in a few days. Here we are a week down the line & no letter & they are still working through some flipping checklist to create the letter!! How do these people get jobs?! As I said it’s a complex set of circumstances but that said we are at serious risk of losing our house now as our other mortgage offer runs out very soon. So if we don’t exchange next week we’ve wasted a huge amount of money!! Our other mortgage (nationwide) took less than 3 weeks from offer in principle to offer letter arriving. I’m seriously fuming right now & stumbled across this thread in a search looking for details of who to complain to & get our fees back! We paid a lot of extra money to get a quick valuation too but I dread to think how long it would’ve taken if we’d not gone down that route! 😔
  • Update from Precise yesterday:
    • they wanted better proof of residency for me 2015 - a direct debit confirmation from water company with o/s balance didn't tick their boxes as proof of residency
    • further SA302 for my wife
    • wanted proof of 2016 bonus
Everyone is waiting for the mortgage offer - expecting to update again early next week
  • Got my mortgage offer today, 9 weeks from application so pleased it’s finally here 🤗

Quick question for anyone that has completed on a day other than 1st was your first mortgage payment same as others or slightly less or more.

    With thanks
