We got a request on the 26th May 2017 for a P60 for me a P45 from last employer. First wage slip from current employer, Wifes mobile number, landline number and kids D.O.B and a CML incentives form from builder. After running round like a blue !!!! fly I managed to get this sorted today. The bank holiday has not helped the valuation has been carried out so fingers crossed.

Yeah they have asked for my wife's p45 from her last employer. They also won't a letter off me from 2015 I don't know why but it's all been sent back to them there doing the house valuation on Tuesday next week.

Just wanted to give hope to anyone reading this who is worried about their adverse....

I have an old CCJ and multiple payday loans in the last 2 months which were fully paid. My partner had 10 late payments on unsecured agreements.

My partner also has 25k in outstanding debt.

But aside from all that we got our mortgage offer today with 20% deposit.

Don't give up hope, I was so worried about getting this mortgage and thought after reading all the previous reviews we would have no chance.

Good luck to you all 😊😊

Absolutley gutted we have passed everything only to find out they will not lend due to a valuation report on the property.
  • What was the issue with the valuation Mark7519?

Our valuation came back £10k under what we had offered and this was done 2 weeks AFTER our valuation came back the first time matching our offer price.

We had to get the sellers to come down in price.
  • Hi everyone,

Our broker submitted our application on Friday and then yesterday sent Declaration, Gift Deposit form and key facts for us to review/sign. We sent those back this afternoon so its just fingers crossed now. 2 weeks sounds like a looooooong time with this anxiety - but i've seen that some people have had to wait much longer! So won't complain :)

We've sent our broker loads of info (wage slips, SA302s, bank statements, and IDs) so I'm hoping they'll have everything they need off hand...

My partner has had some credit issues in the past which makes me nervous but looks like they approve people in a similar boat all the time..

Other issue is we are 2 weeks into our '28 day exchange' window with builder so really hoping we get an offer sooner rather than later (if at all!).
