Hi can anyone explain the solicitor side of it? My broker said I can continue using the solicitors who are selling my house but I've just read I have to pay for Precises solicitors too! This hasn't been mentioned ...0

Thanks first time buyer spoke to our mortgage advisor last night who said he was quite confident that all will be fine as we had a pretty solid response but we will have to wait until at least Wednesday now before we hear anymore.
Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone0 -
Been asked to produce our Tax Credit award notice for this year. What a time to ask.... it takes 8 week to process the renewal meaning we will not get the award letter until the end of August 2017. We need to exhange contracts on the 12th July :mad:0

Hi there, I've been following this thread intently to see how people's applications are going. We've had an application in with precise for about 6 weeks now. Everything is taking ages, this is in part waiting for tax credits awards to come through so I feel your pain Mark7591!! Decided to go ahead and tell precise to instruct valuation and take the risk of losing the fee as we don't want vendor getting fed up of things taking so long! Fingers crossed for that, waiting a decision on that today and then we go from there! Hurry up tax credits is all I can do. So frustrating! Hope everyone has some positive news soon!0

Hi , just joined up and looking for other sucsess storeys using precise , I have one ccj which I got last October , was then paid of in full in Jan this year all satisfied , I have no other defaults , credit cards , overdrafts store cards , no credit at all , but stupidly last year 2016 ,up till Jan this year , I was mis informed that taking payday loans would increase my credit rating , so I took say 7 out and paid them back within a few days , I didn't need the money , was just purely a credit score building idea , stupid of me I know , but I have all bank statements and can proove I had lots of money in the account at the time I got them.
We have a 25k deposit on a house value at 122500 , so borrowing 98k , we got advised precise was the only option we had ,
We have had the DIP passed , we was surprised at that , so then we proceeded with the full application , on which we thought we would be referred or declined , but again we was passed after the more in depth credit search , they then asked for the £600 valuation fee strait after the application , this was today 27th June , I'm just wondering if anyone else has had a similar situation and the outcome ,
My broker is ready to put a apeal in if it gets declined further down the line to try and proove we didn't need the loans and wasn't a sign of desperation or needed the money ???
So now we're just sat waiting going out my mind if we're going to get it or not
Anyone else been hear ?0 -
Also, regarding solicitors, we've just had to change ours as they were not on precise approved list. If they aren't you face paying 2 sets of legal fees! Only found this out by accident!0

Today we've been advised by our MB that Precise have emailed and advised that they don't need any more information at the moment and have appointed a valuer I'm taking this as a good sign, not there yet but they must be positive to have passed for valuation. We paid the fee 2 weeks ago and they have come back twice since with questions before they decided to value. Still keeping my fingers crossed.0
