Hi,
This is random but do solicitors send the bank statements back to you after they have seen the proof of deposit?Im just a bit worried they do as i have now moved out of my council property and into my mums till i get the keys.Mortgage was approved in march but there was problems with the title deeds and had to go to court. Hopefully completing next week.
Many thanks
Janette

You'd normally expect them to. Of course, you course ask them to send them to a new address. Or to destroy them.0

What is your worry here - will it matter if it goes to another address? If someone gets hold of your account number and sort code they can't do much with it apart from paying money into your account or setting up a direct debit (where the DD guarantee covers you).
As has been said you can avoid all of this, if it worries you, by picking it up in person or asking the solicitor to shred it.0
