Hello guys
I am going to be in LA from 11pm until 6pm the following day so thought I would have a day in LA (or anywhere else you can suggest) - been into Hollywood, venice beach before so aware of travel times/roads etc
My question is - how much will it be for 1 day car hire from airport? I have had a quote on one of the sites and was $50 ish but I am sure they will sting us for other charges??

You'll need to book it before you begin the car hire. That will cover you for everything, so you can decline any option offered by the hirer. They will block amount on your CC in case of incident.
If you take the car before midnight, you may need to buy two days of insurance. One minute after midnight, just one day.0
