Sky account changes and charges

I had an email from Sky this morning with information about the changes I made, except I haven't made any changes! This is it:
Sky Go Extra
£ 5.00
11 months and 27 days Sky Go Extra Subscription Discoun
OK, so there's no charge for twelve months. I checked my Sky package and was appalled to see a £5 monthly charge, a supplement for not having Sky Talk.
I don't know when that happened. How can they get away with charging me for something I do NOT have?
What should I do, I don't want Sky talk? Any point talking to them?
Here's a summary of what has changed on your Sky account.
You now have the following extras with your package
Sky Go Extra
£ 5.00
11 months and 27 days Sky Go Extra Subscription Discoun
- £ 5.00
£ 0.00
£ 0.00

I am assuming you refer to a 'charge' of £5 on your broadband and thought that Sky were no longer going to do this kind of thing (but it still appears to apply with Talk but not tv).
Once broadband was £15,with neither Talk nor tv, £12.50 or £10 with just tv or Talk and £7.50 with both, so what they call a 'charge' is just a way of saying you don't get the £5 discount for having Talk.0 -

So do you have Sky Go Extra or not?
Sky Go is free but Sky Go Extra is chargeable unless you have multiroom. It allows extras like downloads - did you download anything on Sky Go recently and activated it?
Is the £5 charge you refer to for something else as you're not really very clear? What should I do, I don't want Sky talk? Any point talking to them?
Yes you should speak to Sky and clarify what has happened.0 -

Thanks, I understand now. My broadband is £7.50 plus there's a £5 supplement for not having Talk. Why don't they just charge £12.50 for broadband and save me from getting mad!0 -

I don't have Sky Go Extra or multiroom. I have never downloaded anything from Sky Go or activated it.
I understand the £5 supplement now it's because I don't have Talk with my broadband.0 -

That's not what you've posted above though. It says Sky Go Extra and quotes £5 with a £5 discount.
I would be asking Sky what the email was all about.0 -

Thank you for your replies. Sky activated the Sky Go Extra, free for twelve months and I can cancel any time.0
