    UPDATE:

had phone calls from local branch , basically calling me senile , and almost insinuating that I was lying about seeing the money go into my account , at which point I used the "resolver" website to make a written formal complaint .

I was rung shortly after , with a very one sided conversation , after they had spoken to my (ex) local branch.
I suggested that they should listen to the tape from my conversation with their switching team , where they wrongly say that there were 3 or 4 debit card payments to go out , then admitting that was wrong and stating that money would be forwarded to my new bank the same day.

    result: appeal upheld

1: the automatic money transfer (scheme) after a bank change had failed to work
2: the switch team operative had given false info (outstanding debit card payments)
3: the operative had failed to do a manual transfer after being requested.

there are lots of other points , but I,m glad to leave them now
    monies going missing
    bad attitude by local staff
where the hell is the £2.74 sale?

a nice cheque to cover my time and effort was received by 3rd class bank transfer from one of their "slush" funds overnight .

all access to my online banking and previous statements has been blocked (immediately) by them , as I think they thought they were in trouble .

3rd class band , 3rd class customer service , 3rd class attitude to customers

    bye bye co-op
