Mobile sms online- any reputable companies?

Hi
I'm hoping to be able to send cheaper sms online, but searching in google just brings up a list of many different websites. Does anybody know which ones are ok to use, as i don't want a company taking my details and using them wrongly!

    I'm signed up to call1899.com for cheaper landline calls and they do texts for 1p to almost anywhere so I'm pretty happy with that. And all our phones in the house are registered so when you log in it offers all those numbers as the "from" number.
